Guggenheim Abu Dhabi is a landmark modern and contemporary art museum currently under construction on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The museum is part of the Saadiyat Cultural District, a world-class cultural destination alongside institutions such as t he Louvre Abu Dhabi. Designed by the internationally acclaimed architect Frank Gehry, the building features a distinctive composition of interconnected galleries and iconic asymmetrical forms that reflect both contemporary architectural innovation and responses to the local environment.
