About the Project
The residence sits within Ghaf Woods, a low-density villa community in Dubai. By the time interior design began, the architecture had already been substantially resolved, so the brief — a family home for daily use, not a showpiece — had to be developed within a structural grid and services layout that were largely fixed.

A home that feels considered, not formal.

The family wanted rooms that were generous without being oversized, and a ground floor that read as one connected sequence rather than a set of separate boxes. Materials were chosen to feel warm underfoot and to hand, rather than simply photograph well — the design idea was proportion and daylight first, finishes second.
